Nordic Vent Pick Set 16th-19th Century

Muskets and flintlock pistols are a lot of fun to fire but they do need to be well maintained. This Swedish set of vent picks makes sure that your vent is clear for the gunpowder to ignite within the chamber. This was used from the late 17th Century to mid 18th century. However, other variations of this were used for as long as flintlocks were used. It was commonly hung on the strap for the cartridge pack.

Med detta verktyg kan då rensa ut fänghålet så att krutet fängkrutet har fri lejd in i pipan. Detta verktygset hängde från axelremmen på bantlärväskan för att ge snabb åtkomst under strid.
